Design and build a complex of edit suites, PCRs, SCRs and studio

What we did:

NEP UK, part of NEP Worldwide Network, is a technical production partner for high profile events such as the Olympics, Oscars, Wimbledon, UEFA Champions League and English Premier League, along with popular entertainment programmes such as Big Brother and Love Island. For this project, we were tasked with stripping out and building in an old archiving room adjacent to live edit suites and PCRs. This meant numerous constraints within a tight deadline.

Requirements included sectional completion when necessary, whilst building full Cat A, B and technical fitout of 11 edit suites several MCRs and PCRs and a studio, including running in power and fibre and a new gas suppressed comms room.

Result:

Successful handover of fully functioning edit suites and comms room with limited disruption and within deadline.
