Audio Visual installations for conference facilities, creation of new meeting room and provision of breakout area
What we did:
East On were invited to provide solutions for Lagardere Sports, requiring the creation of not only a new meeting room (with full AV capabilities) and a new breakout area but also enhanced videoconferencing in both the main Conference Room and the CFO’s office.
Lagardere were experiencing extreme problems with their conferencing facilities including long-standing issues with audio quality, especially apparent with wireless microphones. A full assessment was undertaken by one of our audio specialists, a former BBC sound engineer, whose analysis led us to replace omni-directional microphones with directional versions. This led to a full system reprogramming including a Kramer Digital Signal Processor which was recalibrated to achieve smooth balance and accurate voice and audio.
Videoconferencing was also deployed in the CFO’s office. A completely new meeting room was created from an existing breakout area, with hardware from this location being reused in a newly-created breakout zone.
Result:
All AV challenges were resolved, leading to fully operational conferencing facilities, all existing AV infrastructure was updated to enable easier ongoing support.
